What do you need to establish a car club in your area?

 

If you would like something similar in your area, get in touch for advice.

 

Bear in mind you are going to need some or all of the following:

 

Enthusiastic champion/s - overcoming inertia requires energy

 

Local Knowledge - of people, places, traffic issues, and recent history

 

Publicity - press, posters, leaflets, email networks, word-of-mouth

 

Cars - Presentable, reliable, with central locking & immobiliser

 

Car Locations- safe, accessible at all times, and convenient to members

 

Money – c. £1,000 per car, for equipment & commissioning.

For areas where a car club is still unlikely, there are two other initiatives that might be useful:
